1.  SingaporeBoating provided a platform for industry’s voice to be heard and our input factored into new regulations affecting the industry.These Rules have since been enacted into law, and provides among things for an Advanced PPCDL (Powered Pleasure Craft Driving Licence) to be introduced and a more streamlined yacht charter industry.

Boat Asia and Singapore Yacht Show is just round the corner and they run concurrently from the 18th to the 21st April 2013.
Boat Asia will be held at Marina at Keppel Bay, Keppel Drive, while the Singapore Yacht Show is to be held at One 15 Marina Club, Sentosa Cove.

Marina operations course in Malaysia, 25-26 June
The Australian Marina Industries Association (MIA) is holding a 2 day marina operations course specifically designed for marina staff in the Asia region. Participants will learn about best practices in marina operations and management and will receive a globally recognised certificate at the completion of the course.
The course will take place at the Royal Selangor Yacht Club from 25-26 June, and is aimed at key marina staff, supervisors, dockmasters and managers who have had at least one full year of experience working in the industry.
